How do I find out if I have a warrant?
Warrant information can be accessed by contacting the court where the original charge was filed. The Sheriff’s Office cannot provide that information to you. Local courts can provide you with information on local (Grays Harbor County) charges. For most misdemeanor cases, you may contact the Grays Harbor County District Court at (360) 249-3441 and for felony cases you can contact the Grays Harbor County Superior Court Clerk’s Office at 360 249-3842.
How do I request a copy of a report?
Requests for police reports and other official documents of the Sheriff's Office can be made several ways.
The request should include your name, type of incident, date of incident, location of incident, case number if available. Click here for a the request form.

- You can come into the office and fill out a request form.
How do I request the return of evidence or found property?
You must make an appointment to pick up property that the Sheriff’s Office is holding. Some items may require special handling. Additionally, background checks are required for the release of firearms, even if you possess a Concealed Pistol License. You may call (360) 964-1730 to set up the appointment. Please have your case number, your contact information, and what property you are requesting be returned ready when calling.
How do I get help with a junk vehicle on my property?
Junk vehicles on private property are handled by GHC Public Services-Solid Waste and the public can call 360-249-4222 Ext. 1648 to set up an appointment for an inspection. The vehicles must meet the following criteria:
"Junk vehicle" means a vehicle certified under RCW 46.55.230 as meeting at least three of the following requirements:
(a) Is three years old or older;
(b) Is extensively damaged, such damage including but not limited to any of the following: A broken window or windshield, or missing wheels, tires, motor, or transmission;
(c) Is apparently inoperable;
(d) Has an approximate fair market value equal only to the approximate value of the scrap in it.
After inspection, if the vehicle meets the above requirements, a “Junk Vehicle Affidavit” will be completed which details the appropriate steps for the property owner to take to get the vehicle removed.

How do I get my boat inspected?
If you reside in Grays Harbor County and wish to have a boat inspection done, you may call 360 249-3711 and make the request. If a member of our Marine Services Unit is on duty you will be referred to that officer. In not, you will be given to a Marine Services Unit voicemail where you can leave a message and request contact to set up that appointment.
How do I get fingerprints done?
During regular business hours, fingerprints can be obtained through the administrative office. Subjects needing prints done should provide the card that was given to them by the entity requesting the prints be done (if applicable), and bring picture identification. If no cards were provided to them, our office does have print cards. There is a $10 fee for up to two sets of prints.
