THE CURRENT GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE FACILITY WILL HAVE ITS FINAL COLLECTION DAYS ON JUNE 2, 2021 AND JUNE 5, 2021 FROM 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. AS OF JUNE 6, 2021, THE FACILITY WILL BE CLOSING ITS DOORS PERMANENTLY. THE COUNTY HOPES TO OPEN THE NEW FACILITY IN THE FALL OF 2021 LOCATED AT 29 GAVETT LANE IN MONTESANO.
Central Transfer Station
The Household Hazardous Waste Facility at the Central Transfer Station accepts moderate risk waste from households and small quantity generators.
This facility collects moderate risk wastes free of charge from county residents. Residents may drop-off up to 15 gallons each visit.
The facility also accepts wastes from small quantity generators for a fee and by appointment only when it is not open to residential collection.
Materials Exchange Area
Some products brought to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility are still in usable condition. Instead of recycling or disposing of these still-usable items, they are available for others to use - free of charge. Products vary, but typically include paints, auto products and home cleaning items.
