Where Your Garbage Goes
Grays Harbor County is no longer burying municipal solid waste in the County, our landfills are full and closed. All garbage brought in is processed at an on-site transfer station. Once processed, the garbage is trucked to Centralia and boards a train to Klickitat County in Eastern Washington. The garbage is then buried at the Roosevelt Regional Landfill, owned by Allied Waste Systems Inc.

Please Cover Loads – It’s the Law!
Prevent garbage from blowing onto the roadsides by making sure loose loads are securely covered. Garbage blowing out onto the road is dangerous and can cause traffic accidents. Roadside litter is also ugly, so let’s keep Grays Harbor County looking clean!
