The department maintains and supports the local (LAN) and wide-area (WAN) network which connects the various County offices and agencies, providing access to budgetary, payroll, assessment, and taxation databases, Sheriff, Courts and Health information as well as providing access to the Internet and electronic mail services.

In addition, the staff provides systems analysis and programming development services using state of the art tools to automate county processes and functions.
