Once the Acrobat Reader has been properly
installed on your machine, the request
to declare property surplus form can then be displayed.
This new form marks the implementation of a two step process
for the sale of tax title and other County Real Estate.
First the potential buyer submits an (1) Application to
Declare Property Surplus. This allows Forestry and the Treasurer's
Office to research the property, meet with the Commissioners
in a work session to determine the manner of sale and the
minimum bid. Once those parameters have been set, we can
forward the applicant the appropriate form to proceed -
for a direct sale a SALE OFFER FOR SURPLUS PROPERTY or for
an public bid sale an APPLICATION FOR SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY.
Once completed, please print, sign and return the application
to the County's Treasurer's Office. The application can
be mailed to:
